Grosse Tonhalle
The Grosse Tonhalle is considered to be one of the world’s finest concert halls. Visitors from all over the globe are not only impressed by its brilliant acoustics, but also its architectural style which takes its cue from earlier buildings. The five striking ceiling paintings show different musical scenes, and turn any visit into a feast for the eyes and ears. The room’s festive aura is unique, and concerts held here can accommodate 1500 people. The Grosse Tonhalle is accessed via the Konzertfoyer, which invites you to linger before, after, or in between concerts.
